The official launch of SoWyrd.com has arrived. And what do you know? It also happens to be Internaut Day! The World Wide Web is celebrating its 25th birthday, so, obviously SoWyrd.com should also be born this day. I now realize everything cool happens on 8/23…it, also, happens to be MY birthday, but I’m certain I have no special bias or anything. I’ve created this space as a place to post every weird thing I can think of because my mind never shuts up, so to save my friends from my constant blabber, I’m going to blog about it instead. This way, they can just close the page when my blabbering gets tiresome. Oh, who am I kidding, I’ll continue to blabber out of my mouth hole in person, as well, but it’ll be fun to have a place to share these crazy ideas with other like-minded individuals here, too. My goal is to create a space to explore all the weird…or are they wyrd?...topics that are always floating around in this skull of mine and try to make sense of it all. Because apparently wyrd is a thing and I sure seem to have experienced it over the course of my life time. Rather than waste time scrolling down endless social media streams, we might actually learn something instead…possibly…okay, I might be stretching it now.
